The Slovak Telekom Group recently announced that will sell the entire 100% stake in its subsidiary Zoznam.

According to Slovak Telekom, this change will not have any impact on the shares or operation of other subsidiaries in the group. Slovak Telekom bought Zoznam in 2005 at a time of gradual expansion of online content.

Zoznam was the first subsidiary of Slovak Telekom Group during the early emergence of the ADSL broadband Internet and the Operator had the ambition to grow an online portal with local content.

Zoznam.sk which specializes in on-line search services was at one time the most popular Slovak intenet portal with the highest number of visitors. Over the years, several new services were also launched, such as T-Station magazine and several on-demand services.

Dusan Svalek, Executive Director for Slovakia, Slovak Telekom
At present, the composition of our Group's business is partially changing and we are focusing on several new technological challenges such as the massive construction of optics or the next generation of mobile networks.

Martin Mac, CEO of Zoznam
I would like to thank Slovak Telekom for the opportunity provided and the long-term partnership. We have had one and a half decades of successful cooperation behind us, (during that time) we launched a number of new content services and new projects.
