Slovak Operator 4ka recently announced that it has launched its 5G roaming service available abroad for all its mobile customers.

4ka said its customers will now be able to use fast data in the 5G network in 7 countries of the European Union - Greece, Ireland, Poland, Malta, Austria, Romania and Italy. The operator announces that 5G roaming will gradually be added to other countries by the summer holiday season.

To use the 5G network abroad, all you need is a supported 5G smartphone and data roaming enabled. The device logs on to the 5G roaming partner network in that country automatically.

4G customers can also use the 5G network in Slovakia. 4ka operates a 5G network in Bratislava, Trnava and in the Banská Bystrica area.

Patrik Kollaroci, Technical Director of 4ka's Mobile Services
At 4ke, we are constantly striving to increase the comfort of services for our customers. Therefore, we have launched a 5G network service for everyone, not only in Slovakia in selected locations, but also abroad in international roaming. Already in seven countries, our customers can also draw their data in the fast 5G networks of our roaming partners. Their data is drawn from existing packages that the customer can use in roaming both in 4G and now in 5G networks. In addition, we have increased the capacity of our international roaming connection. We believe that our customers will enjoy this new opportunity and enjoy fast data during the upcoming holiday season.
