T-Mobile reported a solid second quarter financial results where it recorded $9.2 billion in total revenues, up from $8.2 billion in the same quarter last year. The increase in total revenues and an 12 percent higher service revenue are supported by strong post-paid and pre-paid customer growth.

T-Mobile reported that it added 1.9 million total net customers in the last quarter, bringing its total customer count to more than 67 million - up from 58.9 million customers from second quarter of 2015.

The third largest Operator in the US also saw its branded postpaid net addition increasing by 646,000 during the three-month period from April through June, while its branded prepaid net additions went up by 476,000, up 167% year-over-year driven primarily by MetroPCS.

T-Mobile's extended range LTE, which operates on the company’s low-band 700 MHz A-Block spectrum, currently covers more than 200 million people in 350 market areas. In the first and second quarters of 2016, T-Mobile entered into agreements with multiple parties to acquire additional 700 MHz A-Block spectrum licenses. It also said that VoLTE calls now represent 57 percent of total voice minutes on its network, up 16 percent from the same period a year ago.
