'White-box' networking firm, Cumulus Networks has named Josh Leslie as Chief Executive Officer, taking over from JR Rivers who co-founded the company. Leslie, an 18-year technology veteran assumes the position after nearly a year as Cumulus Networks Vice President of Sales. JR will continue setting technical direction and vision in the role of CTO.
Prior to joining Cumulus Networks, Leslie ran worldwide field operations at Instart Logic where he was responsible for signing the company’s first 150 enterprise customers. He also spent six years at VMware where he held roles in sales, operations and business development as the company scaled from $100 million to $1 billion in revenue.
Cumulus Networks simplifies data center operations by delivering operating system products that run on industry standard ethernet switches, converging networking into the architectural and supply chain model of compute.
