Bharat Srinivasan, an industry veteran with over 18 years’ experience in senior positions in the telecommunications and data networking industry has been selected by Birdstep Technology to spearhead the company’s expansion across Asia Pacific.

Bharat has served major multi-nationals in the industry including, Lucent Technologies; Ascend Communications; Stratus Computer; Siebel Systems and edocs. He has also established the mobile intelligence software company Carrier Inc in the Asia Pacific region. A post-graduate with Honors in Economics from BITS Pilani, Bharat has more than 30 years’ experience in diverse technology solutions, of which the last 18 years have been focused on the telecommunications and the networking industry. His initial career involved a sustained stint with Citicorp’s software subsidiary focused on the Financial Services industry where Bharat was one of the key architects of a highly successful integrated banking solution.
