Hélène Barnekow, Executive Vice President and CEO of Telia Sweden, has resigned and will be leaving her position, said the Operator in a statement on Monday.

Johan Dennelind, President & CEO of Telia Company, will temporarily assume the role of CEO of Telia Sweden until a permanent solution is in place.

Hélène Barnekow joined Telia Company in April 2014 as Head of Group Commercial, leaving an international career with among others Sony Ericsson and EMC. In June 2015, she was appointed EVP and CEO of Telia Sweden.
