Digicel group, a leading provider of communications services in 31 markets in the Caribbean and South Pacific regions has entered into anagreement with the Axiata Groups's infrastructure subsidiary, Edotco for the sale of its 75% stake in Digicel Asian Holdings, the parent of Digicel Myanmar Tower. The transaction values 100% of Digicel Myanmar Tower Company for an enterprise value(EV) of USD$221 million.

The transaction would be financed by internally generated funds or external borrowings, the company said in a statement.
