As DTW23 - Ignite enters its second day, Ariana Lynn, Principal Analyst at The Fast Mode spoke to Sue White, Head of Strategy and Marketing at Netcracker Technology. Sue discusses Netcracker's participation at the upcoming event.

Ariana: What products / solutions will Netcracker be showcasing at DTW23? Can we expect to see any new launches?

Sue: Netcracker is proud to launch its GenAI Telco Solution at DTW, a pioneering solution that bridges the power of generative AI models with the valuable telco BSS/OSS data and business knowledge. It sits at the intersection of the generative AI models (from Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, AWS and many others), the users (customers, partners, telco business and operations staff) and the highly valuable yet sensitive telco BSS/OSS data. Over 90% of generative AI use cases will need this data and yet integration is extremely challenging due to security and control issues and the real time nature of telco data. Netcracker overcomes these issues to unlock the potential of generative AI in telco and we will be showcasing our new solution with highly valuable use cases across the entire telco business at the Netcracker booth.

Ariana: Are there any plans to collaborate with other exhibitors or sponsors? Will Netcracker be running any joint demoes or showcases?

Sue: Netcracker is excited to showcase our highly innovative Moonshot catalyst titled “Closing the Metaverse Chasm: Monetizing the ecosystem”. The catalyst is a collaboration between NTT, Zain, STC, du and STL Mobitel as well as partners including Netcracker, AWS, Juniper, NTT QONOQ, and Related and the entire catalyst was led by Netcracker. The catalyst challenge was to “explore how to evolve metaverse from exploratory, silo platforms to an open ecosystem that places CSPs in the value chain with realistic monetization opportunities for all ecosystem partners.”

The team rose to the challenge and created a replicable metaverse foundation with core components that can be used across many industries to make the business case work. We built our solution to go beyond the focus of virtual reality to the entire spectrum of extended reality. We made it easier to work with partners using on-demand and zero touch partnerships, using blockchain and smart contracts for security and dynamic partner onboarding. We also used blockchain-based secure ID and digital transactions to enhance user security and fast payments. The solution showcased the benefits that generative AI can bring to speed-up solution designs, guide users and solve complex issues.

Our solution was grounded in creating value for all ecosystem players with a solid B2B2X strategy.  Users are incentivized to participate in the immersive community through a powerful gamified loyalty component at the core of our solution that creates significant value for all parties.

Ariana: Are there any speaking opportunities that Netcracker will be taking part in? What are some of key points that you plan to cover?

Sue: At DTW, Netcracker’s chairman and CEO Andrew Feinberg will participate in an exclusive CEO Spotlight Panel, during which executives from key Netcracker customers – du, Nuuday, Telenet, TELUS, T-Mobile USA and Vodafone Oman – will discuss real-world outcomes of their digital transformations, as well as the untapped post-transformation potential to continue their efforts of delivering a superior customer experience and quickly adapting to current and future business requirements.

In addition, Netcracker will participate in a Fireside Chat on the topic of “Drivers for Telco Evolution: Why and How to Make the Techco Journey”. Executives from du and TELUS will join the president of Netcracker, Sylvain Seignour, who will discuss the drivers for making this important transition and the steps they are taking to make their companies more self-sufficient and agile.

Netcracker’s senior vice president of strategy, Ari Banerjee, will also take part in a panel of CSP executives from Vodafone Oman, Nuuday, Deutsche Telekom and Swisscom to discuss new types of business models that will be needed to drive growth in the business, especially with a significant focus on building a strong ecosystem of partners. The session is titled: “Innovative Business Models as the Catalyst for the Next Wave of Telco Revenue”.
