Simon: There are some potential challenges that could impact the telecoms industry in coming years based on ongoing trends, as the industry focuses on Modernization. To support the increasing demands of 5G, IoT, and other emerging technologies, telecoms will need to modernize their infrastructure or platforms, including upgrading and expanding fixed and mobile networks, and deploying edge computing solutions and digital transformation. These investments require significant capital and planning, posing challenges for telecom companies. The telecoms industry continues to evolve from traditional voice and data services to a more diversified ecosystem of digital services and solutions. Operators can leverage AI and ML to optimize network performance, predict and prevent outages, personalize customer experiences, automate processes, and enhance cybersecurity. Telecom companies will continue to prioritize customer experience by leveraging advanced technologies. Personalized services, chatbots, virtual assistants, and self-service platforms will become more prevalent, allowing customers to manage their accounts, troubleshoot issues, and access support more conveniently.
