In the run-up to DTW23 - Ignite, Ariana Lynn, Principal Analyst at The Fast Mode spoke to Daria Batrakova, Director Business Line Telecom Solutions at FNT Software in a brief interview on the company's plans for the event. Daria explores upcoming product launches and showcases.

Ariana: What products / solutions will FNT Software be showcasing at DTW23? Can we expect to see any new launches?

Daria: FNT is showcasing FNT Command Platform along with the new version of our flagship product FNT Command. FNT Command is a hybrid infrastructure digital twin that holds accurate information on all physical, logical, and virtual resources across the network, data center and cloud. This unified resource management capability is essential for CSPs and network operators to design, plan and operate today’s complex networks. FNT is also premiering two new use cases based on FNT Command Platform integration with partner solutions.

Ariana: Will FNT Software be exhibiting at DTW23’s The Loft?

Daria: Yes! FNT with partner DC Smarter will demonstrate their combined digital twin solution utilizing AR technology and FNT Command data. The topic is how to maximize on-site efficiency for geographically distributed edge data centers. Edge data centers are strategically important; they are necessary for service providers to extend their reach. But they come with a distinct set of challenges driven primarily by their distance from the center of operations and their highly distributed footprint. Managing them remotely can be difficult, time consuming, and costly.

That’s where FNT and DC Smarter come in. AR solutions combined with a digital twin maximize the efficiency of planning from afar and technician efficiency on-site. FNT’s Loft demonstration, How to Enhance Edge Data Center Operations with AR and a Digital Twin, shows attendees how. The demo is taking place on Wednesday Sept 20 at 3pm. Presenters are Daria Batrakova, FNT’s Director Business Line Telecom Solutions and Ismar Efendic, Chief Technology Officer at DC Smarter. Additionally, FNT is participating in the Future Networks Tech Tour at Stop 4. The tour starts at 5:30pm on Wednesday September 20.

Ariana: Are there any plans to collaborate with other exhibitors or sponsors? Will FNT Software be running any joint demos or showcases?

Daria: In addition to the edge DC operations use case, FNT is also collaborating with an award-winning partner, Inmanta. We are demonstrating an end-to-end service orchestration use case at our booth, where FNT combines workflow management (FNT ProcessCenter, part of the FNT Command Platform) and unified inventory (FNT Command) with Inmanta’s intent-based end-to-end service orchestration and service lifecycle management solution.
