ConnectedYou, a global IoT/M2M connectivity provider, will be attending and exhibiting at TM Forum’s highly anticipated DTW23 - Ignite, set to take place in Copenhagen in two weeks. In a brief interview on the company’s participation at the event, Ariana Lynn, Principal Analyst at The Fast Mode spoke to Parag Mittal, Founder and CEO of ConnectedYou. Parag reveals the solutions that the company will be demonstrating at the event as well as his predictions for the telecoms industry in the next year.

Ariana: What are you looking forward to most at the event? Does ConnectedYou have any exciting activities planned?

Parag: We are very excited about networking with more telecom partners and understanding their innovation plans. It’s imperative to stay in sync with the evolving needs of our customers. In order to keep up, it’s crucial to interact and brainstorm solutions with existing and potential partners.

ConnectedYou delivers an independent eSIM based connectivity orchestration solution. We service across verticals, from IoT enterprises to MNO/MVNOs depending on their requirements. One of the challenges faced by many IoT enterprises as well as mobile operators today is the chaos of managing multiple profiles and IoT connectivity across different locations. With our 1 SIM, 1 Platform, multiple connectivity suppliers solution, we make connectivity management feel like child’s play. We look forward to introducing our avant- garde IoT Orchestration Hub to our customers as a simple solution to their problem.

Ariana: What products / solutions will ConnectedYou be showcasing at DTW23? Can we expect to see any new launches?

Parag: Our UberSIM solution won the “Enterprise eSIM Solution Of The Year” 2023 Award and we plan to announce the launch of this service availability for MNOs at the event along with our latest high availability solution. This will enable MNOs to become a true global connectivity solution provider overnight.

This will allow enterprises to set up rules enabling them to automatically switch connectivity providers without manually changing profiles every time. This automated shift will increase connectivity uptime and reduce loss of revenue caused by connectivity disruptions by a significant margin. This solution will supremely impact businesses that need constant connectivity, a feature we wish to introduce to telecom operators who have clients with such requirements.

Ariana: What are some emerging trends and technologies that you expect will power digital transformation in the telco space in the next year?

Parag: It’s an interesting question because our own vision is planted in the future. We believe that democratization of IoT by offering connectivity independent of hardware restrictions is the ultimate dream. This particular dream will take center stage and I already see it happening. With the deployment of 5G, mobile operators are turning to network disaggregation due to the plethora of benefits it offers. This disaggregation is distinguished by the division of networking hardware into functional components and the ability for each component to be deployed independently. Network disaggregation opens up the network to scale, streamline operations, and significantly reduce overall costs. It breaks the vendor lock-that has traditionally limited innovation to accelerate new services and revenues. Network operators today have access to a wide range of options that can be quickly integrated through open interfaces, preventing them from being overly dependent on a single vendor.
