Global provider of telecom IT solutions, Tecnotree, has announced the completed deployment of its Agility Convergent Billing Solution (CBS) for Mobile GSM services for Omantel, with Omantel commencing the migration of its subscriber base into Tecnotree’s CBS .

Omantel deployed the solution with the aim of increasing revenue and improving profitability, as the operator moves forward with its strategy to offer the widest choice of state of the art services with the broadest network coverage.

Techotree said that the new solution will offer Omantel convergence across all lines of business, providing unified billing consolidation in one system - drastically reducing billing execution time and operational costs. The new technology will allow Omantel to be more agile in incorporating digital services for subscribers, offering personalised product bundles and helping to build a sustainable competitive advantage over other providers.
