Tata Communications has partnered with global WiFi provider, iPass to enable service providers and enterprises to offer a secure and seamless access to the world's largest Wi-Fi network. iPass claims that it has the largest and fastest growing network of its kind with more than 53 million hotspots in more than 120 countries.

The partnership with iPass will provide Tata Communications' mobile network operator and app service provider customers with an easy and secure way to access the iPass Wi-Fi network, harnessing the iPass SmartConnect Software Development Kit (SDK). The iPass SmartConnect SDK is a key component of the iPass Developer Program and enables enterprises, operators and solution vendors to incorporate iPass global mobile connectivity into their mobile applications.

The iPass SmartConnect SDK leverages patented iPass SmartConnect technology, which delivers customers intelligent, always on access to the highest quality, best performing Wi-Fi service, while ensuring their privacy and safety through secure authentication and identity protection.
