AT&T and Virtustream, an EMC Federation company are teaming up to bring highly secure access to Virtustream’s Enterprise Class Cloud and Cloud Storage services on the AT&T NetBond. This lets businesses connect to these services through their AT&T virtual private network.

According to AT&T, businesses can now, via the AT&T NetBond, connect to any cloud compute or IT service environment in AT&T's partner ecosystem. This enhances network security by bypassing public Internet while improving reliability and performance built in the network.

Virtustream joins 14 other leading cloud providers in the NetBond ecosystem. The ecosystem provides NetBond users single portal-access to more than 20 leading cloud services, added AT&T.

Andy Daudelin, vice president, AT&T Cloud and Cloud Networking
We’re helping businesses get more value out of the cloud services they already use. They have a new choice to simplify network management and provide more control using the AT&T network. Our leading network is the foundation for all our integrated cloud solutions.

Kevin Herrin, vice president, Cloud Services, Virtustream
We designed Virtustream services for enterprise workloads that require high performance, availability and security. NetBond is a natural fit and will help us continue to deliver that value to our customers.
