Monaco Telecom Selects OpenCloud Virtualized VoLTE Solution

OpenCloud, Tuesday announced that its Sentinel VoLTE product has been selected for deployment within Monaco Telecom’s virtualized network. OpenCloud will provide the application servers to deliver multi-media telephony services (MMTel AS) and the service centralization and continuity applications (SCC AS) which enables the interoperation and handover of calls between the legacy network and the VoLTE/IMS/LTE network.

According to OpenCloud, the open nature of its product enables Monaco Telecom to freely develop innovative service extensions without dependency on the vendor. Monaco Telecom anticipates using in-house teams to leverage this capability and create more competitive service offerings to address the specific needs of the market in Monaco.

Thierry Berthouloux, CTO at Monaco Telecom
Monaco Telecom’s customers demand more than standard communication services. The open flexibility of OpenCloud’s solution provides the perfect platform on which Monaco Telecom can develop new services to delight its customers and extend our own competitive advantage.

Phillip Stubbs, OpenCloud CTO
Whether added alongside existing inflexible VoLTE equipment or, as in this case, delivering the full MMTel and SCC capability, OpenCloud is providing its customers with the power to differentiate.
