Ford's new Escape will be powered with AT&T's 4G LTE wireless connectivity. Ford and AT&T have formed a new partnership that will see buyers of the newest Ford Escape getting a free mobile connection linking their SUV to their smartphone over AT&T's 4G LTE network. . 

The service, SYNC Connect, adds levels of convenience to SYNC, its in-car entertainment and communications system. Ford plans to introduce SYNC Connect in the United States and Canada this spring with plans to connect more than 10 million customers within the next five years.

Ford SYNC Connect enables car owners to remotely lock and unlock doors from virtually anywhere and helps them to locate their parked vehicle on a map with its built-in GPS system. It also allows users to remotely start the vehicle or schedule a start time and view vehicle information, including fuel and battery level and tire pressure readings.
