Redknee Solutions announced that a Tier 1 Operator in North America has extended a contract worth of more than US$5 million to support its Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) strategy. Redknee's solution will enable the Tier 1 operator to support multiple business models and provide multifaceted solutions.
Redknee said that its MVNE solution enables the Tier 1 operator to implement its customer engagement strategy, focusing on encouraging online or community based support and reducing the use of more costly traditional customer care solutions. In addition, leveraging Redknee's converged billing solution, the operator can accelerate its MVNE and multi-brand growth strategy, including the launch of new consumer and partner brands and additional MVNOs to the market from this centralized platform.
