The leading wireless services provider in Latin America, América Móvil has joined Qualcomm Global Pass program to accelerate the processes of accreditation and certification of 4G LTE terminals. With the Global Pass platform, the operator will work closely with OEMs and ODMs in bringing a wide offering of high quality products to Latin America quickly.

As part of Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD) program, it ensures that device manufacturers can create differentiated LTE products that comply with América Móvil’s unique regional specifications to its Snapdragon processor. It includes testings at regional level, enabling operators to test products before their release.
