Mirantis, the pure play OpenStack company, Tuesday announced a strategic technology and investment collaboration with Intel that will see Intel Capital leading a $100 million funding round with new investor Goldman Sachs and existing investors that include August Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Ericsson and others.

Intel's investment in Mirantis is part of the company's ‘Cloud for All’ initiative that centers on open cloud infrastructure.
