Astellia, a leading provider of network and subscriber intelligence for mobile operators, this week announced that it will extend the monitoring of Digicel Haiti’s 2G network to its 3G network to support the operator's growth in mobile broadband.

Digicel will use Astellia’s Nova Explorer for end-to-end network troubleshooting from RAN to core network.

According to Astellia, the solution will enable Digicel to provide seamless data service usage by addressing network mobility, accessibility and throughput issues by troubleshooting the network and resolving any identified anomalies.

Digicel Haiti is a subsidiary of the Digicel Group which has operations in 33 markets in the Caribbean, Central America and Asia Pacific.

Juan Torres, Chief Technology Officer at Digicel Haiti
Haitians love their mobile phones, that is why we continue to invest in infrastructure and technology to ensure a distinct customer experience. Astellia helps us diagnose network issues and identify quality-related network trends even before they impact our customers.

Carlos Guio, Managing Director Americas at Astellia
We are very proud of our fruitful partnership with Digicel Haiti, an Astellia customer since 2007. We will continue to help Digicel strengthen their leadership position by understanding and addressing problematic network quality issues in order to offer a consistent experience to their 7 million customers.
