ARRIS Group, Wednesday introduced ARRIS Hosted Service Provider (SP) Wi-Fi, a hosted version of its managed Service Provider Wi-Fi solution, further expanding its Wi-Fi service offerings. The new hosted solution aims to minimize time to market, capital spend, and expertise requirements—allowing operators to scale quickly to carrier-class deployments and address key verticals, such as Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU), public spaces, venues and educational environments, according to ARRIS.

In addition, the solution integrates with existing operator systems—centralizing management and reporting and incorporating existing systems into the solution. ARRIS added that the company also offers a full set of carrier-class Wi-Fi services, including business case analysis, lab proof of concept and validations, OSS/BSS integrations, managed services and field design and deployment, so that operators can tailor features and services to their customers' specific needs.
