Sckipio Technologies, the leader in G.fast modems, and iPhotonix, an industry innovation leader for the network functions virtualization (NFV), cloud transformation and fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) technologies, recently announced a partnership to ensure easy deployment and management of G.fast DPU devices by telcos globally. The partnership will enable the iPhotonix Virtual Network (iVN) to fully interoperate with Sckipio’s G.fast solution, which supports the most simultaneous subscribers and boasts the highest rate and reach.
Sckipio’s G.fast technology consists of modems for both the DPU and the CPE, while the iVN is an integrated NFV platform for the rapid delivery of iPhotonix vApps combined with extensive networking, management and orchestration (MANO) solutions.
