Aviat Networks, the leading expert in microwave networking solutions, today announced a new three-year turnkey agreement with MTN South Africa, an operating company under the MTN Group. Aviat will modernize the operator’s mobile backhaul network and expand network services by installing CTR microwave networking solutions to support its capacity and coverage requirements, especially to support its fast growing mobile data subcribers.
Headquartered in South Africa, the MTN group has 227.5 million subscribers across its 22 operations in Africa and Middle East.
