Cellwize, a leading Self-Optimizing Network (SON) solutions provider announced that it has strengthened its growing team in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with several strategic hires including the appointment of Olivier Guibert as the region's General Manager. The strengthening of the company's leadership team comes at a time where Asian operators are rolling out LTE, with these players looking to SON to strengthen network agility and deliver seamless user experience.
In his role, Guibert will be working closely with the region’s key operators to ensure that they can successfully address their growing network and business challenges. Cellwize said that Olivier is familiar with the network performance challenges experienced by Operators in the region. Olivier’s recent experience with Data Analytics and CEM solutions at The Now Factory (TNF), an IBM company, strongly positions him to head Cellwize strategy in the region, said the company. Before TNF, Guibert held strategic positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Comverse where he led the growth of their APAC business.
