Zain Saudi Arabia (KSA), part of the Zain Group has awarded ASCOM Network Testing a three year managed services contract to improve its inbound and outbound roaming services, as well as perform VAS, Application, and Regression Testing & Troubleshooting.

Ascom deployed its TEMS Monitor Master solution to enable Zain KSA to test and monitor their services and international roaming scenarios for enhanced user experience.

The solution will also enable Zain KSA to perform 24x7 monitoring of services & applications accessed while subscribers are roaming, and covers popular services often accessed via mobile devices including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and YouTube, said Ascom. The solution has been deployed in six different locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and 25 international destinations.

Sultan Abdulaziz Al Deghaither, Senior Network Director, Zain
Offering customers the best quality network is of the utmost importance to us. Using Ascom’s solution allows us to monitor our customers’ experience as they engage with different social media channels when they are in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or outside. And by using the problem resolution features in the tool in the cases when customers were roaming internationally, we were able to achieve significant revenue savings for Zain.

Faiq Khan, VP, AMEA region, Zain
We are thrilled to have been selected by Zain after a successful trial. As their partner, we will strive to help them achieve the best results with their networks to ensure their customers’ satisfaction and help improve roaming revenues.
