L&T Technology Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, a large Indianengineering, technology, manufacturing and construction multinational conglomerate has announced that it has joined the Intel Network Builders program. The Intel Network Builders program is an ecosystem of leading solutions providers that provides access to a comprehensive reference architecture library of proven solutions that accelerate and simplify the development and implementation of network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined network (SDN) infrastructure.

According to L&T Technology Services , this initiative will enable the company to develop scalable and cost effective solutions & applications based on Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). L&T added that it has invested significantly in this space by developing portable SDN applications and VNFs such as Virtual Routers.
