Zaark, a market leader in mobile VoIP technology this week announced that it has signed an agreement with Telefonica, a group operator with 316 million subscribers in 21 countries, to provide a framework for high definition codec integration and improved audio quality which will be deployed for Telefonica's VoIP-app “TU Go”.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Zaark offers a complete communication solution provided either as an SDK for integration with existing apps or as a turnkey White Label. The company said it has developed a complete communications solution on its modular architecture and enables each delivery to be tailored to meet specific requirements regardless of whether it is a closed private network, a branded turnkey white label (incl Apps) or adding basic call functionality to an existing app.

Jorge Serna Pozuelo, Director of Products & Programme at Telefonica TU Go
VoIP is a focus area for us and the partnership with Zaark gives us access to both technology and domain expertise which is paramount for the success of our venture. Zaark has proven a very professional partner.

Johan Öhman, CEO Zaark AB
Entering into an agreement with Telefonica is overwhelming and demonstrates that Zaark is at the forefront of VoIP technology. Audio handling is complex and it is very satisfying that our knowledge in this field is recognized globally.
