Windstream yesterday launched SASE Express Lane in partnership with Cato Networks, enabling businesses to deploy the comprehensive, cloud-native network and security solution in as few as fourteen days. As organizations face a rising number of threats to their IT infrastructure, SASE Express Lane offers a near-immediate solution that drastically decreases the time it takes to secure enterprise networks and protect sensitive data.

A growing number of businesses are turning to SASE because of its ability to help organizations quickly adapt to constantly shifting users, applications and work environments while keeping all application and security policies synchronized with these changing endpoints. With Windstream Enterprise’s SASE Express Lane, customers can implement the solution over existing internet connections, without needing to wait for access installations.

SASE Express Lane is supported through Windstream Enterprise’s Cyber Security Operations Center to support the swift implementation of Windstream Enterprise SASE, powered by Cato Networks. The integrated network and security components of SASE are essential to the protection of modern enterprises, while also elevating network performance and simplifying overall management via a single-pane-of-glass WE Connect customer portal. SASE from Windstream Enterprise is comprised of the following features:

  • Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN)
  • Firewall as a Service (FwaaS)
  • Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

Art Nichols, Chief Technology Officer, Windstream Enterprise

In today’s high-threat environment, our customers are looking for cybersecurity solutions that can be deployed in weeks, not months, especially as they move from legacy security services to a fully integrated SASE solution. SASE Express Lane minimizes our clients’ vulnerabilities by significantly reducing the time it takes to secure their cloud-based infrastructure and distributed work environments. This solution is an example of how Windstream Enterprise is combining technology and professional services for a complete white glove experience.

Shlomo Kramer, CEO and Co-founder, Cato Networks

Enterprises cannot afford lengthy IT projects to achieve optimal security posture. Every day that passes increases the risk of being victimized by a cyberattack. With Cato Networks, Windstream Enterprise’s SASE Express Lane brings any enterprise to a ‘Fortune 500’ cybersecurity posture in days, not months, freeing IT teams to work on projects that drive business growth.

Mike Flannery, Chief Revenue Officer, Windstream Enterprise

SASE Express Lane is an example of how we have expanded our portfolio to give customers turnkey solutions that combine technology and services. Because of our combination approach, we were the first to offer a comprehensive managed SASE solution, and we are the first to partner with Cato to deploy an express implementation. Businesses can trust Windstream Enterprise as their single source to optimize connectivity, collaboration and security solutions so their organizations run smarter.
