Recently, China Unicom Hunan (Hunan Unicom for short) hosted the conference of "Digital and Intelligent, New Life in the Future" in Changsha, China. At the conference, Hunan Unicom, together with its strategic partner Huawei, officially launched the FTTR broadband and Gigabit Wi-Fi solution based on Huawei FTTR OptiXstar F30 and B30 series products, bringing leading network experience to users. In addition, the first batch of trial users were invited to share their experience, enabling onsite guests to experience the changes brought by gigabit networks to the digital and smart life of users in a more intuitive manner.

Feng Zhishan, President of Huawei’s Optical Access Network Product Line, introduced Huawei FTTR OptiXstar F30 and B30 products at the conference. According to Mr. Feng, Huawei has launched the innovative FTTR solution which extends a fiber to each room and breaks the rate limit of traditional transmission media. The Huawei FTTR solution meets the requirements of digital applications such as ultra-HD video, whole-house intelligence, and online collaborative office for higher bandwidth, more connections, lower latency, higher stability, and more intelligent networks. Huawei works with Hunan Unicom to deploy all-optical gigabit networks, making ultra-gigabit Wi-Fi experience ubiquitous indoors. In the future, Huawei will continue to provide innovative products like OptiXstar F30 and B30 to provide premium network experience for home users and help enterprises go digital.

At the conference, Hunan Unicom and Huawei showcased the FTTR solution for home users and FTTO solution for enterprise users, and displayed upgraded F30 and B30 packages to provide premium digital life experience to broadband users. At the conference, guests experienced the 2000 Mbps network speed test, real-time video streaming when 128 mobile phones access the Internet at the same time, and the smart home app of China Unicom. In addition, Hunan Unicom has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei in fields such as strengthening digital infrastructure, building gigabit cities, building smart homes, and delivering smart life experience, with the purpose of boosting high-quality digital economy development.
