CommScope, a global leader in home network solutions, announced that Foxtel will deploy CommScope’s NVG448 Triple Play residential gateways to deliver Wi-Fi 6 performance to Foxtel’s broadband customers in Australia.

As the home of the world’s best shows, sport and movies, Foxtel is relying on this new apparatus to support active home networks with increased capacity for streaming entertainment. Designed to deliver faster broadband speeds across more devices with lower latency, the NVG488 Gateway is perfect for ultra-HD video over Wi-Fi and other delay sensitive applications.

This full-featured, high performance gateway will provide Foxtel with a cost-effective way to deploy broadband services over-active Ethernet or xDSL networks via a converged services platform. The NVG488 Gateway will also provide Foxtel customers with the ability to connect more devices to their home network.
