Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad (TIS), the Telefónica Group company pioneer in comprehensive technological security, has partnered with the multinational Checkpoint Systems, a world leader in anti-theft and RFID solutions, for its continuous innovation and development of solutions that help commercial establishments reduce theft.

Through this partnership, TIS will add Checkpoint’s anti-theft solutions for all types of sectors to its technology portfolio. The agreement, which will be effective nationwide, is aimed primarily at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The solution covers different anti-theft systems, from electronics and small devices, to textiles and accessories, to small hygiene products, thus making the store more secure against this type of unwanted theft. The solution is based on an EAS = “Electronic Article Surveillance” system for different items, which through a range of antennas with new electronics and intelligent connectivity improves the theft detection capabilities of even the smallest items.

This collaboration highlights the strong commitment of TIS to continue providing all its support and impetus to the process of transformation and digitization of SMEs in Spain, allowing them to accelerate their recovery and economic recovery.
