MTN Group Awards Huawei Managed Services Contract Covering Six Countries

MTN Group, a South Africa-based multinational mobile telecommunications company, has awarded Huawei a five-year managed services contract covering six countries, including Ghana, Cameroon, Guinea and Benin. The contract covers a range of services such as managed network operations, network performance management and spare parts management.

According to Huawei, its innovative managed services solutions will support the operator in enhancing operational efficiency and providing better network quality to MTN users. Huawei added that it will continue to operate, optimize, transform and improve MTN’s operations and services with Huawei’s Managed Services Unified Platform (MSUP) and support from its global expertise in MAI (Measure, Analyze, Improve), to ensure greater efficiency and business value can be achieved at MTN.
