Opera Mediaworks Opens Innovation Lab to Launch Suite of Mobile Ad Products

Opera Mediaworks, the leading mobile ad platform provider headquartered in Silicon Valley, California and a subsidiary of Opera software, Tuesday announced the launch of its Innovation Lab with the goal of creating new products and solutions to cater for the growing mobile advertising industry.

According to Opera Mediaworks, the innovation center made up of the best 11 industry talents from the tech and ad industries will help marketers reach the next generation of mobile consumers in the most effective and engaging way.

The company that has its mobile ad platform serving 64 billion impressions and reaching 700 million global consumers monthly, will be introducing a suite of new mobile advertising products from the innovations lab in the coming months via live demos and special events at various cities.

We've tasked the Innovation Lab team with understanding how consumers can and will be interacting with their mobile devices in the future -- and with finding the ways that brands can actively participate in that experience."

-        Scott Swanson, President, Global Advertising Sales

"It was equally important for us to get people who understood both the realities of the demands that ad agencies face and how to communicate the hows and whys of these products."

-       Orr Orenstein, Head of Innovation for Opera Mediaworks
