StarHub Partners Suntech to Upgrade its Service Fulfilment Platforms

Suntech, a leading provider of Operations Support System (OSS) solutions based in Poland, on Tuesday announced that Singapore's StarHub has selected the company to upgrade its service fulfilment platforms as part of the fully-integrated quad-play provider’s multi-year OSS digital transformation journey.

By implementing Suntech’s SunVizion Network Inventory System, StarHub has gained the enhanced ability to intelligently manage its extensive logical and physical network elements in an integrated manner.

With full visibility over its network assets through a single system, the StarHub Integrated Network Engineering team can now accurately track the utilisation of resources and proactively identify areas for enhancements in performance, capacity and coverage, based on business demands. The improved workflow also enables StarHub to provision services for both consumers and enterprise customers across network platforms, quickly and efficiently.

Transformation is inevitable, and it takes effort. The immediate move that StarHub made was to consolidate and replace numerous legacy network inventory systems with Suntech’s SunVizion Network Inventory System.

With the implementation of new Network Inventory System, StarHub’s Integrated Network Engineering team – which designs and maintains robust, efficient, and scalable fixed and wireless networks for the delivery of quality services, content and solutions to all consumers and enterprises – recognised the improved efficiency in their daily operations.

Chong Siew Loong, CTO, StarHub
Operating high-performing and resilient networks is key to enabling a whole range of services and solutions for our customers. Working with Suntech, our race to digitalise, automate and introduce more advanced intelligence into our networks is well underway.

Piotr Saczuk, Chief Executive of Suntech
StarHub is a prestigious customer and we’ve made fantastic progress in our two-year collaboration. We’re happy to support their business goals as a leading communications, entertainment and digital solutions provider with SunVizion solutions.
