Telco Systems Expands SDN/NFV Solutions, Joins Intel® Network Builders Program
Mansfield, Massachusetts based Telco Systems has announced that it has joined the Intel® Network Builders program as they are introducing their new CloudMetro products which uses Intel® architecture. Telco Systems, a BATM company, is a provider of SDN & NFV solutions as well as CE 2.0 multi-service Carrier Ethernet and MPLS edge access solutions for mobile backhaulbusiness Ethernet services and cloud networking.
The Cloudmetro product line, part of Open Metro Edge (OME) solution, has capabilities to embed additional CPUs to host different Virtual Networking Functions (VNF) at the edge of the network. The OME solution is Telco Systems' strategic transition of their portfolio towards SDN & NFV.
Also utilizing Intel architecture, Telco Systems’ newly announced TelcoApps – an assortment of innovative virtual networking applications – enables virtualized network functions to be hosted on not only Telco Systems’ platforms, but also on any Intel processor anywhere in the network.

We are very excited to join the Intel® Network Builders program. These ecosystems are essential to the service provider market to unlock the openness and innovation in their networks. It will surely help create joint solutions and cooperation between the members and the service providers."

- Nir Halachmi, Director of Strategic Product Management and Innovation, Telco Systems

Embedding the Intel architecture at the edge of the network, with solutions like those from Telco Systems, is another step in accelerating the adoption of SDN and NFV concepts."
