Anritsu claims that it leads in both 5G Protocol and RF Carrier Acceptance Test (CAT) coverage for a Tier 1 U.S. operator. The Company claims that it achieved leading 5G protocol coverage, with over 200 validated test cases now available.

The only other approved test equipment vendor participating with this operator has validation for only 81% of Anritsu’s total coverage. Anritsu has also achieved 100% validation coverage of Frequency Range 1 (FR1) and Frequency Range 2 (FR2) RF CAT test cases for this Tier 1 U.S. operator and has become the sole approved test equipment vendor platform providing a 100% coverage.

Anritsu said it has a lead of over 23% validated tests than the next competitor. Across Protocol and RF CAT, Anritsu offers a significant advantage to wireless ecosystem, such as device OEMs, chipset vendors, and test houses, by offering broader test coverage and a stable system with repeatable results.

In addition, Anritsu also leads other test equipment vendors in 5G Protocol CAT across U.S. operators with 5G carrier acceptance programs. Anritsu is the first test equipment vendor to exceed 300 cumulative test cases validated across all three Tier 1 U.S. operators. In fact, Anritsu has more approved test cases than the top two competitors combined.
