DigitalRoute Announces Partnership with Comverse

DigitalRoute and Comverse announced on Wednesday a partnership for the management, processing, and optimized utilization of the enormous amounts of complex and varied data in communication service provider (CSP) systems.

Both the companies intend to join their expertise to help CSPs to cope with drastic increase in the demand for data processing, arising from the 4G/LTE networks, the proliferation of smart devices and the interconnection of telecom with social media networks.

According to a statement, DigitalRoute’s MediationZone platform and the Comverse ONE BSS solution positions CSPs to generate new revenues and differentiate with innovative new services and a superior user experience – all while reducing operating costs.

"Because the Comverse ONE BSS solution handles billions of pieces of information of every relevant variety every day for a significant number of the world’s largest service providers, we are happy to join forces. Our award-winning MediationZone platform, which currently excels in 310+ deployments worldwide, has been named #1 in the mediation field by Frost & Sullivan and other key analysts. Our enhanced mediation capabilities – together with Comverse’s 360° view of the customer and advanced analytics capabilities – position CSPs for better network management, innovative service delivery and more effective marketing. Benefits to their subscribers include improved customer and self-service featuring more account information and service choice across all business segments: fixed, mobile, broadband & cable.

- Kari Miettinen, Executive VP, Global Alliance, DigitalRoute

The amount of information generated every second by tens of millions of mobile devices is mind-boggling, yet it is mission-critical to process all of that information instantly for a broad range of real-time actions. We are looking forward to working with Digital Route, a leading mediation services provider, to optimize the business results of CSPs and the customer experience of subscribers worldwide.

- Gani Nayak, SVP Systems and Solutions, Comverse
