According to Sprint, it now offers 2 to 3 times the data compared to its close competitors. In the last month, Sprint and other major operators in the US, namely Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T have slashed their data rates, in particular on their larger plans. This time around, Sprint is bringing down the rates on its lower tier packages.

Sprint said that the Sprint Family Share Pack is giving customers 1GB shared data allowance at just USD20. The Sprint Family Share Pack allows customers to build their own plans, starting with the choice of shared data allowance (for example, a 1GB allowance for USD20 per month for up to 10 lines) and then the addition of data access to undiscounted phones with unlimited talk and text while on the Sprint Network at USD25 per month per line (for data usage of 1GB to 16GB) and finally the addition of tablet and mobile broadband devices at USD10 and USD 20 per device respectively.

Sprint is also beefing up its larger plans under the Sprint Family Share Pack by offering 20GB shared data allowance and unlimited talk and text for up to 10 lines at only USD100 with waiver for monthly access charges from now until the end of 2015. At present, Sprint’s 4G LTE network serves more than 255 million people in the US.
