Zayo Group, a leading global provider of fibre-based communications solutions, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Globalways GmbH, a Stuttgart-based fibre infrastructure and network services company.

Once completed, this acquisition will enhance Zayo’s presence in Europe, aligning with its commitment to enhance its European service offering. The intended acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during Q4 2023.

Globalways operates approximately 360km of owned fibre infrastructure across the Stuttgart metropolitan area and surrounding regions, with more than 700 on-net buildings.
