Sinch, a leading  A2P(application to Person) SMS vendor has entered into an agreement to acquire SAP Digital Interconnect (SDI), a unit within SAP, for a total cash of EUR 225 million.

SDI offers cloud-based communications products and serves more than 1,500 enterprise customers throughout the world. Its customer base includes many of the world’s most valued brands, including top technology companies, banks, payment gateways, retail brands, and mobile operators.

For the twelve months ended March 31, 2020, SDI recorded revenues of EUR 340 million and gross profit of EUR 94 million. The business employs 330 people in 20 countries and is headquartered in San Ramon, California.

Sinch has been expanding its portfolio via acquisitions. In March, the Company entered into an agreement to acquire Wavy for ~USD 69.5 million and 1,534,582 new shares in Sinch.
