Timex Unveils its IRONMAN® Smartwatch at USD399 with 1 Year Data Connectivity for AT&T Subscribers

Timex, by Timex Group unveiled its new smartwatch, the TIMEX® IRONMAN® ONE GPS+ that features wireless connectivity, creating a standalone device that enables wearers to access a host of applications on the internet without having to carry any other mobile device.

Timex in a their statement said that the smartwatch offers the following key features - email-based messaging, location tracking,  emergency location identification safety solution, fitness monitoring and sharing which covers tracking of speed, distance and pace, water resistance up to 50 meters, built-in MP3 component with 4 GB of memory to play music via a Bluetooth headset and sunlight-readable, high-resolution touch display. Via its collaboration with AT&T, the leading provider of wireless, Wi-Fi, high speed Internet, voice and cloud-based services in US, Times is also offering one year of data connectivity for U.S. and Canadian subscribers. 

According to Timex, the TIMEX® IRONMAN® ONE GPS+ has been developed in close collaboration with Qualcomm, a leader in 3G, 4G and next-generation wireless technologies and Synchronoss Technologies, a provider of cloud solutions and software-based activation for connection devices.  Synchronoss provides the cloud-based service delivery platform for the smartwatch as well as its mobile application and web portal. 

The TIMEX® IRONMAN® ONE GPS+ will be available for USD399.95 across timex.com, AT&T stores, att.com, sports speciality and electronic stores.
