AT&T announced that its DirecTV Now live TV streaming service would launch on November 30th. AT&T acquired DirecTV last year to become the top pay TV provider in the United States and with the Over-the-Top(OTT) live streaming launch, it is set to compete head-to-head with the likes of Sling TV, Netflix and Hulu.

The service, which was first announced earlier this year, works over home broadband or mobile wireless service.  For AT&T wireless customers, they can enjoy data free streaming on their mobile data.

Starting tomorrow, customers can stream their favorite live sports, on demand, premium channels, popular shows and hit movies right to their tablet, smartphone or TV.

The streaming TV package includes four tiers ranging from $35/month to $70/month with 60+ to 120+ channels. Customers can experience any of the packages free for 7 days when they sign up at www.directvnow.com and download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
