Digicel Signs More Content Providers to its PLAY

Digicel recently announced a new content licensing agreement with CBS Studios International (CBS) to bring even more riveting content to Digicel Play subscribers across the Carribbean and Central America. With the agreement, Digicel Play customers can enjoy a more memorable viewing experience with content from the home of Emmy award-winning talk show “Dr. Phil”, the popular “The Late Show with Steven Colbert” and a host of other content, including the best sports, movies, music, kids tv and family entertainment.

Just launched early this year, Digicel Play is centered on high speed broadband, television and fixed line services. Digicel promises to invest around $2 billion on its fibre network to expand the service within its footprint.

The operator has also signed partnerships with a number of other content providers, including NBC Universal to offer the Bravo channel to its Caribbean customers.
