M1 Brings 10Gbps Fibre Broadband to Residential Customers in Singapore

Singapore's M1 has started offering the commercial rollout of its 10Gbps XGPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) fibre service to its residential customers. The service enables multi-user households to enjoy ultra-fast downloads, incredibly smooth HD video streaming and lag-free gaming simultaneously.

The service is priced at S$189 per month and includes termination point (TP) installation worth S$235.40, ONT activation worth S$58.85, and a 1GB 4G mData line.

Customers interested in signing up for the service can do so at the following six M1 Shop outlets: Bugis, Change Alley, NEX, Paragon, Tampines, and West Mall, said M1.

P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer, M1
Last August, we launched Singapore’s first 10Gbps XGPON service for the corporate segment. The service has been well-received, and since then we have been conducting network and equipment testing to ensure our service is ready for our residential customers. We are pleased to extend our XGPON service’s benefits to our residential consumers.
