Deutsche Telekom has extended its partnership with iPass, a leading global WiFi provider to offer its business customers unlimited access to iPass' global network of more than 20 million Wi-Fi hotpots, including airports, hotels, restaurants and other public areas. iPass claims that its global network will increase to 50 million Wi-Fi hotspots by the end of this year.

iPass Unlimited that was launched early this year provides new service plan offering users unlimited data, time and device usage, starting at a monthly price of $25 per user. With iPass Unlimited, users will also have access to Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi services on more than 2,100 commercial aircrafts. It uses Software-as-a-Service delivery model, with Wi-Fi provisioned as a service from the cloud.

With the partnership, Deutsche Telekom's enterprise customers via a single log-in can obtain automatic and unlimited access to cost-effective and secure global Wi-Fi via smartphones, tablets and laptops both at home and abroad, said iPass.

Hans A. Panse, vice president business at Deutsche Telekom
With iPass' strategy of unlimited, everywhere, and invisible access, they are the ideal partner to help us meet our customers' insatiable appetite for Wi-Fi wherever they are in the world.

Patricia Hume, chief commercial officer, iPass.
Wi-Fi has become the connectivity option of choice for the vast majority of mobile workers. iPass Unlimited removes the need to worry about time or data constraints, allowing customers to enjoy unlimited usage across multiple devices without the meter running.
