NTT Communications (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within NTT, Monday announced the establishment of its IoT Office with the aim to provide secure IoT solutions that leverages the company’s global network, cloud and datacenters. The new unit will expand its capabilities by collaborating with the providers of devices and application platforms.

With the establishment, NTT Com said that it will provide one-stop application platforms that store, visualize and analyze data collected from IoT devices, directly from the cloud. NTT Com's customers can choose where to store their data among its 130 datacenters worldwide, including cloud bases, and deal with laws, such as the EU Data Protection Directive, in the preferred locale, said the Operator.
