Etisalat UAE's 'Family Pack' allows Free Voice Calls and Data Sharing for up to 10 Persons

Etisalat United Arab Emirates(UAE) launches the Family Pack to allow sharing of data and free voice calls between members for up to 10 persons. Etisalat UAE is one of the subsidiaries of the Middle East's leading telecommunications operator, Etisalat which has presence in over 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia with annual revenues of USD9 billion.

The Family Pack corresponds to the demand among customers in UAE who prefer to have a single package that covers the data and voice needs of all their close family members.

According to a statement from Etisalat UAE, the Family Package offers data from 5 GB to 50 GB to be shared among up to 10 members and free mobile calls within family members. Family members can be included into the package with a subscription rate as low as AED29 or USD8 per month to have access to the free voice calls. The package allows the main account holder to add both postpaid and prepaid customers to the package.

The two bundles offered under the Family Package are the 5G Data Plan that allows free voice calls among members and sharing of data among 2-4 persons, priced at AED 299 or USD81 and the 50GB Data Plan that allows sharing among 2-10 people, priced at AED 1299 or USD353. According to Etisalat, customers can activate their Family Package by just sending an SMS and following through a simple step-by-step validation process on their phones.

"People in the UAE are known to have strong family ties. Our new service reflects the most important aspect of this society - the desire to stay connected with family through regular contact and communication. As the UAE's first, the new pack aims to make it both, convenient and pocket-friendly, for our customers to keep in touch with family members and as part of the family, enjoy benefits of shared data too. It truly is the answer to a family's daily calling and data usage needs."
