Orange Business Services has signed an agreement with Open Fiber to access the company's fibre to the home (FTTH) network to deliver ultra broadband services in Italy.
Orange Business Service has signed a network-to-network interface (NNI) agreement with Open Fiber to allow its customers to navigate at the highest available speeds of 100 Gbps for both upload and download, with minimal latency and the highest security standards. This partnership will enable delivery of Orange's advanced digital applications, which include cloud services, data analytics, data management platforms, Internet of Things (IoT), available to the enterprise market and government.
Orange Business Services and Open Fiber are also exploring Smart City offerings to better manage the needs of a municipality and provide a superior quality of life for citizens. The data, which comes from connected city structures such as public lighting, traffic lights, parking lots, CCTV cameras, etc., allows optimization of resources in managing cities.
