TIM and Amazon have reached an agreement to launch Prime Video - Amazon’s premium subscription streaming service - on TIMVISION’s TIM Box decoder.

A move that further boosts TIM’s content offer with additional premium shows available via the TIM Box decoder, bringing viewers a unique digital entertainment experience. In addition to the TIMVISION programming, the decoder brings TV Netflix originals, DAZN, Eurosport and TIMGAMES’ offer. The Android TV operating system also allows access to the Google Play App world.

Starting today, Prime Video will bring exclusive and award-winning Prime Originals to the TIM Box for all TIMVISION customers subscribed to Amazon Prime, at no additional cost to their Prime membership. Content includes  the second season of the “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”, “The Grand Tour” and Prime Original “Homecoming” TV series starring Julia Roberts. Easy access to the Prime Video catalogue will be granted by the TIM Box “search and recommendations” options, with a selection of Prime Original series available directly on the TIMVISION catalogue.

Daniela Bascarini, Head of Multimedia Entertainment & Consumer Digital Services, TIM
Today we add further value to our programming by adding the contents of Amazon Prime Video to the major sports events, the exclusive previews, movies and TV series that are already available on TIMVISION.

Brett Ballbach, Business Development Director, Prime Video Europe
We want Prime members to be able to watch all their favourite content when they want, on any device they want; Prime Video is already available on thousands of devices, from Smart TVs, to games consoles, to tablets and mobile devices.
