Safaricom has announced new Home Fibre packages that will combine mobile voice, mobile data, SMS and Home Fibre in one package.

Known as Home Fibre Plus, the new packages come at a time consumer preferences are shifting to a single solution that meets all their communication needs both at home and on the go. This means that for a single fee, Safaricom Home Fibre customers can enjoy data connectivity, calls and SMS wherever they are.

At the same time, Safaricom has also partnered with Jubilee Insurance to provide Home Fibre customers with a preferential home insurance cover. Unlike typical home insurance policies, customers will not be required to compile an inventory of their household goods to benefit from the policy.

Safaricom’s Home Fibre service has passed more than 213,000 homes across the country and is available in Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika, Bungoma, Kitale, Nyeri and Nanyuki among other towns.

In Nairobi, the service is available in Nyayo Estate, Imara Daima, South B, Langata Estate, Ongata Rongai, Kiambu Road, Ruaka, Runda, Parklands, Westlands, Kileleshwa, Mountain View, Kinoo and Kikuyu among other estates.
